This is the TRUE STORY of what happened to me from August 20th to October 31st 2009..    If you think Most Haunted Live was exciting read the following story that we could not tell you on the 8 days extravaganza.... The show was spooky enough.. I was invited to appear on the show and booked for a few of the 8 days. I did appear on 3 nights shows and the producers were kind enough to allow me to remain with them the whole of the 8 days. Thank you everyone for your amazing hospitality and the greatest show I have ever seen.   Now to the spooky part of this story.....       This is the diary of my dreams starting on the night of August 20th 2009.  I dreamt this night of a man hanging, it was some kind of an experiment as well as an act and in this dream it seemed to be linked to executions.  I drew a picture of a person hanging and wrote these words,  “I was looking at a High Wire Act, A man was showing me one that had never been done before.”   There had been some other dreams too that night about horror and death and a little girl who is on the other side who very often comes into my dreams was telling me all about witches and executions. That little girl passed into the next life on August 20th 2008. This night was the first aniversary of her passing.   Over the next few nights I was dreaming more about very strange things that all seemed linked to a place I would be sometime in the future. On Monday 24th August I took my 2 youngest children with their mum to Thorpe Park, a  fun park full of rides and entertainment just to the west of LONDON. We arrived there just before lunchtime.  One of the rides my wife and kids wanted to go in was THE SAW.  This ride is the newest and most scary ride at the park and it is said to be HAUNTED.  Each car that goes round holds 8 people. They qued up for quite a while to go on the ride. As they came off of the ride looking frightened and gaunt my daughter Danielle said to me, dad guess who was in our car as we went round, I asked her  who, she replied Paul Ross the TV presenter.  I coupled this extraordinary chance meeting between my family and Paul Ross with the Horror Dreams of the previous day's and decided it meant I would be asked to go on MOST HAUNTED the very popular TV show.  I knew that Paul Ross often presented that show when it was broadcast live.   Thursday 27th August exactly a week after the Hanging dream, a person from Most Haunted production team called me. They invited me to take a small part in the upcoming Halloween Most Haunted Live that was to be hosted by Paul Ross between 24th  October and 31st October.  They wanted me to dream where they would be going on each of the 8 days and also what would be happening on those days. I would not be told anything about the location of the shows hub or locations they would be visiting for vigils during the shows. I agreed to this and told them about the dreams I had been having and the chance meeting between Gerry, Danielle  and my wife at the Saw ride just 4 days previously. They told me the reason they called had nothing at all to do with Paul Ross and they had no knowledge if he had even been to Thorpe Park with his daughter that day.  I went on asking my dreams where the location of the studio hub would be and the locations of the vigils for the next month, I had been told I would not be allowed to go to the vigil locations with the team because they wanted to see if I could dream of locations other people were going to visit. This is something I had never tried to do before and we all knew I could dream of locations I would be visiting as I had done that experiment dozens of times.   After just two weeks I had decided that the two main locations would be Lancaster and Morecambe in Lancashire.  I had dreamt of Witches, a Doctors House, Hangings, a Customs House, an Antique Shop some kind of Monument and a Pub that had a strong link to the Slave Ships and Smugglers. Court Rooms Cells, Old Records held in a castle and at least two people who had been murdered and chopped up. Friars, Priests and much more, so I now had a pretty accurate picture of what and where Most Haunted Live Halloween Special 2009 was going to be all about and where it would be held.   I was told on the 16th October that I would indeed be coming up to Lancaster and the hotel I would stay in was there.  Over the 8 days of the show I saw all my dreams unfold culminating on Halloween night the mock execution by hanging of Karl Beattie.  There are some very scary coincidences in all this, the most scary of all perhaps is meeting Paul Ross in the SAW the supposedly Haunted ride at Thorpe Park the drawing of the Hanging but wait for it, The Pendle Witches were Hanged on Thursday August 20th 1612 exactly 397 years before my first dream of Most Haunted on Thursday August 20th 2009. The mock execution by the team of Karl was at the site where the Pendle whitches were hanged on August 20th all those years ago.  This story was not told on the show but I think it will haunt the Most Team for many years to come as they watched this unfold before their very eyes during the show and in the weeks leading up to it.
